The Sarasota folk music festival was born years ago at a chance meeting between Crowley museum folks, "We are thinking about having a folk festival to bring people out to Crowley" and Folk Club folks, "We've been thinking about creating a festival that would feature the talented folk musicians from the Sarasota area." In its fifth year, the Festival is still best described as "A Day of Folk Music in the Country". We invite everyone to take a drive to the country and enjoy the day of music.

Three music stages; two with tents and one at a pavilion; one workshop area; food, beverages, arts and crafts vendors; earth-friendly exhibitors. |

The "Big Top" tent will feature many of the Festival's larger group acts. It is the festival's largest stage will be under a 30x40 tent and will have about 100 seats. The Pavilion Stage will have room for about 50 chairs under the fixed roof. The Family Stage will have room for about 30 chairs under the tent. |

Free parking will be close by in the adjacent field. Golf carts will ferry folks to the festival area. Limited handicap spaces will be available. Sorry, no pets allowed. |

Performances will be held on three stages. Seating will be limited so consider bringing your own lawn chairs. |

The Workshop area will be held under an easy-up tent in the forest. |
